When i look within

When i look within
I see a very humble, happy, and compassionate person
who has been through a lot of hardships in her life.
I no longer see broken, beaten and bruised woman
who didn’t even realize her existence.
Today i see that woman standing stronger
through all adversities and living life
on life terms like normal people do.
I’m grateful that, that woman i see is me.

they tell me

love will find you

When I look within I see
The deepest part of my conscious.
I see the Twisted thoughts.
The Monsters that keep me up.
Screaming late into the night.
I want to understand the intricate, fragile design of my mind.
I want to hear my Demons.
Whispering in my ear.
I want you to hold my hand.
As they tear me apart.
So I don’t feel alone.
Even in the Dark.
