Policies
Accessibility statement.
Access is one of Heard's values, so it applies to this website as much as to our workshops.
This website
- High-contrast black and warm-white typography
- Full keyboard navigation with visible focus outlines
- Descriptive alternative text on photographs of participants and artwork
- Videos are click-to-play with captions and transcripts; no audio autoplays
- Motion is reduced automatically when your device requests it
- Large tap targets and readable body text on small screens
- Information is never conveyed by color alone
Our programs
Teaching artists adapt materials, prompts, and formats to the participants in the room. Tell us what your community needs when we plan together — physical access, seating, sensory considerations, language support, or alternative materials.
Tell us if something is not working
If any part of this site or a program is difficult to use, email director@heardnova.org. We will fix what we can and find another way to get you the information.
